What is the difference between last month's rent and a security deposit in Kyiv?
In Ukraine a tenant usually pays the first month's rent and either a security deposit or the last month's rent. Last month's rent is already paid, so after notice you owe only community charges. The deposit is what the owner holds and returns when you leave, minus agreed deductions.
