Vestor.Estate

Legal & Escrow

Wire the money without wiring blind.

Vestor was the first company to bring escrow into Ukrainian real estate, in 2020. Funds only move when the conditions of the deal are actually met.

Why it matters

The fear isn't irrational. The fix is structural.

01

No local bank account

Funds move through the escrow agent. You never need to open a Ukrainian account to close a purchase.

02

Funds stay restricted

Money held in escrow can only be released for this transaction. It isn't available to either party until conditions are met.

03

Hours, not weeks

Once conditions are fulfilled, funds and documents release the same day, without the drawn-out bank process.

How it works

Four steps. Funds move once.

01

Agreement signed

Buyer and seller sign an agreement with the escrow agent, setting the conditions for release.

02

Funds transferred

Buyer transfers the purchase price and closing costs into the escrow account.

03

Title verified

Seller transfers ownership documents to the agent, who verifies them against the agreement.

04

Released

Once conditions are met, documents go to the buyer and funds go to the seller, in the same transaction.

"We structure the transaction and coordinate both sides, but we never hold your money. That's the point of escrow."

FAQ

Questions buyers ask.

How do I know my money won't just disappear? +

Funds sit with an independent escrow agent, not with Vestor or the seller. They're released only when the agreed conditions are met and verified. It's the same mechanism used in escrow transactions worldwide, applied to Ukrainian real estate.

Do I need to understand Ukrainian property law to use escrow? +

No. The escrow agreement sets out exactly what needs to happen before funds or documents move. The agreement is the only document you need to read, and we go through it with you before signing.

How long does an escrow transaction take? +

Setting the agreement takes as long as both sides need to agree on terms. Once signed and funded, release happens in hours once conditions are verified, not weeks.

Who actually holds the funds during the transaction? +

An independent escrow agent, separate from both Vestor and the seller. Vestor structures the transaction and coordinates between parties, but does not hold your money at any point.

What happens if the deal falls through? +

If the conditions in the escrow agreement aren't met, funds are returned to the buyer and documents remain with the seller. Nothing releases unless both sides fulfill what they agreed to.
